Brahmastra first Monday performance


After a fantastic first weekend at the ticket windows, everyone was eagerly waiting for the performance of Brahmastra on its first Monday. Reportedly, the film posted a all India nett of Rs 16 crore with 14.25 crore from Hindi belt and 2 crore from South dubbed versions. Overall, the film passed the Monday test if not with with flying colours, on a decent note.

Including Monday collections, Brahmastra posted Rs 135 crore nett at the Indian box office with a contribution of Rs 119 crore from the North circuits and Rs 16 crore from the South dubbed versions. The film needs to continue the similar momentum during weekdays to breach the safe and break-even mark.

As per the sources, Brahmastra should collect a nett of Rs 250 crore at the Indian box office to emerge as a box office winner. As there are no notable releases in Hindi till September 30th, Brahmastra will be having a open ground till the entry of Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles. At Telugu box office, the film has achieved break-even status in two days itself and emerged as a winner in the first weekend itself.
