Anantika Sanilkumar’s ‘8 Vasantalu’ Sets OTT Premiere on Netflix
Following a modest performance at the box office, 8 Vasantalu, starring MAD fame Anantika Sanilkumar, is making its way to the digital space. The film, which hit theatres on June 20, 2025, is now gearing up for its OTT debut on Netflix on July 11, 2025.
Helmed by director Phanindra Narsetti, 8 Vasantalu is not just releasing in Telugu — it will also be available in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, broadening its reach across South Indian audiences.
Interestingly, Phanindra Narsetti has shared that the OTT version will adopt a 2:1 aspect ratio, offering a more immersive, cinematic viewing experience compared to the theatrical cut.
The film features performances by Hanu Reddy, Ravi Duggirala, among others, with a soulful soundtrack composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Produced by the prestigious Mythri Movie Makers, the film now awaits a second life on streaming.
