Action King Arjun’s latest outing Seetha Payanam, which hit theatres last week, has been making solid noise at the box office. Arjun not only directed and produced the film but also introduced two newcomers through it- his daughter Aishwarya Arjun and Upendra’s nephew Niranjan. Made under the Shri Ram Films International banner, the film released on February 14 and opened to good appreciation.
Seetha Payanam has been performing well commercially, pulling in impressive collections within its opening weekend. Arjun’s story, his direction, Sai Madhav Burra’s dialogues, and Aishwarya Arjun’s performance have all resonated strongly with audiences. Notably, Anup Rubens’s songs and background score have emerged as major highlights and key strengths of the film. Thanks to strong word-of-mouth, the film’s daily collections have been steadily increasing.
The makers have announced that Seetha Payanam has grossed 8.7 crore in just four days. Among last week’s releases, the film has clearly taken the top spot. With continued audience support, the movie is poised to maintain its momentum into the second week as well. It is evident that Aishwarya’s debut film is yielding a good result at the box office.
Additionally, Arjun and Dhruva Sarja’s special cameo appearances have also served as added positives.
