“Beauty movie will connect with everyone” – Hero Ankith Koyya
On A Maruthi Team Product, Vanara Celluloid and Zee Studios banners, producers Vijay Paul Reddy Adidala and Umesh Kumar Bansal have brought forth the film Beauty, starring Ankith Koyya, Neelakshi, VK Naresh, and Vasuki in key roles. Story and screenplay are by R.V. Subrahmanyam, with direction by J.S.S. Vardhan. The film is set to release on September 19. As part of the promotions, hero Ankith Koyya interacted with the media and shared his thoughts.
How did you come on board for Beauty? What was your first reaction to the story?
The title and logo of Beauty were designed by Maruthi garu himself. The title was finalized before I came into the project. When I heard the story, I was shocked – it impressed me deeply. At the same time, I was anxious about how the audience would receive it.
What kind of role are you playing in Beauty?
Audiences will see me in a character they have never seen me before. I play the role of Arjun. Initially, I was nervous about how people would accept me in this role. But as an actor, my only aim was to do justice to the character. I performed in a way that truly fit the role.
What is the real “Beauty” in the film?
The real hero of Beauty is Naresh garu. I loved his role the most when I first heard the script. He plays a middle-class father, and audiences will strongly connect with his emotions. In fact, the backbone of this film is Naresh garu. Viewers will talk most about his and Vasuki garu’s performances.
Tell us about Nilakhi’s role and your working experience with her.
Nilakhi has done a fantastic job as Alekhya. At first, I felt a little uncomfortable during the intimate scenes because I didn’t want her to feel awkward. But she was very professional, stayed true to the character, and supported me throughout.
How was your journey with director Vardhan on this film?
I actively participated in story discussions with Vardhan garu. We would discuss even the smallest details in depth. He has handled the story wonderfully, giving justification to every character.
It looks like the producer invested a big budget for Beauty.
Producer Vijay Paul Reddy garu never compromised anywhere. Whatever we needed, he made sure it was provided immediately. His only focus was to ensure the product came out well. We also had the strong support of Maruthi garu and Zee Studios. With all their contributions, Beauty has turned out to be a solid film.
The songs from Beauty are already trending. Tell us about the music.
The songs are excellent. The track Kannamma is still trending everywhere. Music director Vijay Bulganin gave us some beautiful songs. His background score elevates the film to another level, especially in emotional sequences.
What can audiences expect from Beauty?
Beauty is a story that happens in every home and every street. It’s a familiar story, yet one that everyone must reflect on. It conveys how cautious people need to be in today’s times. We have portrayed the emotions of a middle-class father with great depth. Ultimately, Beauty is a film that will connect with everyone.
