Constable Director Aryan Subhash follows in the footsteps of great directors like Rajamouli and Sukumar: Cinematographer Shaik Hazarathaiah

Cinematographer Shaik Hazarathaiah (Vali), who has more than 25 years of experience and has worked on over 78 films, impressed everyone with his work in Constable. The film, directed by Aryan Subhash, stars Varun Sandesh and Madhulika Varanasi, and is produced by Balagam Jagadish. The movie has received positive reviews since its release, and cameraman Vali shared his thoughts in an interaction with the media.I’m from Makkenavaripalem village in Nellore district. I entered the film industry thanks to Executive Manager Narayana, who gave me my first opportunity in the camera department. That’s how my journey began 25 years ago, and since then, I’ve worked on several blockbuster films across eight languages.

I’ve even received awards for my cinematography in Hindi and Marathi films.I’ve been part of the camera departments for movies like Arundhati, Annavaram, Ek Niranjan, and Ragada, among many others. Since childhood, I’ve been a huge fan of Chiranjeevi garu. He inspired me to join the industry. Later, when I worked on Annavaram, I got to see Pawan Kalyan garu.

Watching his dedication made me realize that hard work truly pays off.I first met producer Balagam Jagadish when he acted in one of the films I worked on. He liked my working style and told me then and there that he would definitely make a film with me someday. When Jagadish garu heard the story of Constable, he immediately sent it to me. I really liked the narration by Aryan Subhash and told Jagadish garu that it was an excellent story. That’s how our journey with Constable began.Varun Sandesh was very cooperative throughout the shoot. Working with him felt like being part of a close family. He never carried any airs about his stardom and was friendly with everyone on set. I remember one instance when he got injured during the shoot but still continued working without taking rest. After Constable was released, I received calls from many people in the industry appreciating my work. They were surprised that we could achieve such high-quality output in just 30 days.

Even a major production banner reached out and expressed interest in collaborating on a future project. I’m really happy with the response this film is getting. Both the director and the producer worked extremely hard on this film. The producer was always present on set, overseeing everything, even checking the production food to make sure everyone was well-fed. The director, on the other hand, follows in the footsteps of great directors like Rajamouli and Sukumar who would personally act out each scene for the artists. At present, I’m working on director Ram Bheeman’s film Andhra King Thaluka, starring Ram Pothineni. Besides that, I’ll soon begin work on another project being produced by Shiva Prasad, which is set to go on floors by the end of this month.
