Coolie Kerala Pre-Sales Cross ₹5 Crore Mark; Hype Peaks Ahead of Release
The much-awaited Rajinikanth starrer Coolie is creating a storm at the box office even before its release. In Kerala, the film’s pre-sales have already crossed the ₹5 crore mark, with approximately 2.90 lakh tickets sold.
Industry trackers predict that the film could achieve a pre-sales gross of ₹7–8 crore in Kerala alone. With the release date fast approaching, the buzz around Coolie is intensifying, described by trade experts as “growing like a creeper.”
According to reports, a significant surge in bookings is expected between the night of August 12 and the end of August 13, as fans gear up for the film’s grand arrival.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie features Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, while Tollywood icon Nagarjuna plays the antagonist. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 14, 2025.
