Despite announcing TVK, Vijay’s market remains unshakable; Here’s proof
It is widely known that Kollywood Star Vijay is all set to leave the films and enter the politics. He even established a political party named TVK and will be fighting the government in the upcoming general elections which are scheduled in the year, 2026.

As a last film, before entering the politics, Vijay is doing a film titled, Jana Nayagan under the direction of H Vinoth. Also starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the film is an unofficial remake of 2023 released Telugu movie, Bhagavanth Kesari. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, the movie had a good run at the box office.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film stars Sree Leela in key role and has Kajal Agarwal in the female lead role. Bhagavanth Kesari is a box office hit for Balakrishna after terrific box office films like Akanda and Veera Simha Reddy completing a hat trick hits for the actor after many years and brought Josh among the Nandamuri fans.
Coming back to Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, the movie has Mamitha Baiju in a crucial role and is scheduled for January 9,2026 release. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the digital rights for the movie have fetched a whopping amount of ₹90 crore. The film fetching this much huge amount without theatrical rights is going to be huge and hot topic among the Tamil Media circles.

However, an official conformation regarding the same is awaited. If the news turns out to be true, it is evident that their is no effect on Vijay’s market despite announcement of a political party and going to lock horns with the ruling DMK party. TVK means Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. All we need to say is all the best for Vijay’s political ambitious.
