Harish Shankar’s Next Project Rumored to Feature Salman Khan in the Lead
Director Harish Shankar, who recently faced a major setback with Mr. Bachchan—the Telugu remake of the Bollywood hit Raid—is currently busy wrapping up Ustaad Bhagat Singh starring Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. With filming almost complete, buzz about his next project has already begun making waves.
According to the latest developments, Harish is all set to reunite with ace producer Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, marking their third collaboration after Subramanyam For Sale and Duvvada Jagannadam. Harish has often expressed how close the SVC banner is to his heart, making this reunion all the more special.
What’s grabbing the most attention, however, is the talk that a massive star will be headlining this venture. Social media is flooded with speculation that none other than Bollywood Megastar Salman Khan is being considered for the lead role. Though there is no official confirmation yet, the rumor is spreading like wildfire.
Interestingly, whispers of a Harish Shankar–Salman Khan collaboration have surfaced in the past, though linked to a different production house at the time. Now, with Salman reeling from a string of flops and in need of a solid comeback, teaming up with Harish could be a bold and intriguing move.
If the deal goes through, this project could become one of the most talked-about cross-industry collaborations in recent times.
