Hero Kiran Abbavaram Needs to Speed Up His Film Output
The film industry relies on various sectors—technicians, directors, distributors, exhibitors, and workers. For all these sections to have consistent employment, actors must do films regularly. While it’s understandable that star heroes take a long time for each project due to the scale involved, mid-range heroes can keep the industry alive by doing more films frequently.
In this context, actor Kiran Abbavaram’s pace seems a bit concerning. Last year, his films K and Dil Ruba were released. Interestingly, the production for both began as early as 2022, but they hit the screens nearly two years later. Now, Kiran is working on a film titled K-Ramp, which also appears to be taking quite some time to complete.
If we look at the pattern, it seems like Kiran is delivering one film every two years. At a time when exhibitors and distributors are struggling due to a lack of consistent content in theatres, such delays from mid-range actors like Kiran Abbavaram are drawing criticism.
Since it’s the small and medium-budget films that are keeping the industry afloat, there’s a growing need for mid-range heroes to pick up the pace and commit to more projects. Viewers and industry insiders alike are hoping that young actors like Kiran realize this and reduce the gap between their releases.
