Who will acquire the right of War II?
WAR2, the highly anticipated project starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr in the lead roles has almost completely it’s shooting except for a song. Being directed by Ayan Mukerj, the song shot is supposed to wrap up by the month of April but due to unfortunate incident for Hrithik Roshan’s leg fracture the shooting has been postponed to the month of May.
Kiara Advani is the female lead in the movie. Meanwhile, the makers have already announced that the film is gearing up for a August 14,2025 release. The team is busy with the post-production work.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that War2 theatrical rights are not yet sold. In South, the movie rights might be snapped by Sithara Entertainments or else Asian Cinemas. It is, widely known that earlier Sithara has, successful distributed NTR’s last outing, Devara across twin Telugu states.
Considering the rapport Sithara Vamsi maintains with NTR Jr, it has a bright scope to acquire the rights. On the other hand, Asian Cinemas also has a good network in distribution all over the South and even distributed a few of the films for Yash Raj Films earlier. Considering the dynamics, who will acquire the rights of War II, turns curiosity among the Industry sources.
War 2 is touted as an action thriller and has big Bollywood names on the board. The movie is produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner.
