Indian Superstar Rajinikanth has two projects in the production stage. While one of them is Coolie, the other one is Jailer 2 under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar. On the other side, Tollywood star hero NTR has two projects in the pipeline. While one of them is a Bollywood project with Hrithik Roshan, the other one is the project with Prashant Neel.
It is widely known that Rajinikanth’s Coolie has locked it’s release date as August 14th. A same day release has been locked by War2 makers. Ayan Mukerji is the director for War 2. With no option left, War 2 has to lock the horns with Coolie which also has Nagarjuna, Upendra from Kannada, Sathyaraj , Soubin Shahir and Shruthi Hassan in a key roles, Coolie has its music composed by Anirudh. Lokesh Kanaraj is the director for the movie.
Coming to NTR, this movie with Prashant Neel has just completed a schedule. The film’s new schedule is planned from this month from April 22nd in which the lead actor is expected to join. The film was tentevilyy titled, #NTRNEEL is initially scheduled for January 9,2026 release. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that the release of the film has been postponed to April,2026. On the other hand, Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 is also gearing up for an April release, suggest the initial reports. Done with the Jailer 2, Rajinikanth is keen on moving ahead with yet another project.
Meanwhile, coming to main story is that even NTR’s film with Prashant Neel is aiming for the same month release as Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 is planned. By looking at the current scenario, it is evident that NTR has a challenge to Indian Superstar. Was it In-tensional or it going to just happen like that, is a well known answer to the actor duo.
