Peddi starring Ram Charan in the lead role has been generating curiosity among the audience soon after the first look images are out. Touted as a rural sports drama, in the first look posters Ram Charan’s makeover has caught the audience attention and raised expectations on the movie.
Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that the audio rights of Peddi are acquired by prestigious music streaming platform T-series by offering a fancy amount. An official announcement regarding the same was unveiled by the makers a while ago. A couple of days back an announcement came out that Peddi first look teaser or glimpse is scheduled for a digital release on April 6th on the eve of Sri Rama Navami. An official poster regarding the same was also released. Reports suggest that the audio rights alone fetched a whopping of Rs 35 crores for the makers.
Being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers banner, Peddi has Kannada actor Shivarajkumar in a key role. While Janhvi Kapoor is on board as the female lead, Oscar winning musician AR Rahman is scoring the music for this village actioner. Co-produced by Sukumar writings and Vriddhi Cinemas, the movie is expected to hit the screens during Sankranti 2026.
The film’s success is going to play in key role in Ram Charan’s career as his last outing disappointed him and fans as well. Peddi is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
