Vivek Athreya to direct Rajinikanth?
Young and Talented director Vivek Athreya, who scored a blockbuster with his last outing, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is planning something big for his next.
As per the buzz, the young director is planning a project with Indian Superstar Rajinikanth for his next. Reports also say that reputed production house Mythri Movie Makers is on board to bankroll the project.
Off late, Rajinikanth has been working with young slot of directors for the past few years and continuing the same he gave his nod to the script narrated by Vivek Athreya. As per the inside reports, Rajinikanth liked the script narrated by Vivek Athreya very much and immediately said ok to do the project.
Currently, Rajinikanth is ready for the release of his upcoming film, titled, Coolie under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. The project which also stars Tollywood star Nagarjuna in a crucial role is scheduled to hit the screens on August 14,2025. After this, he has much awaited project, Jailer 2 under the shooting process. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the movie is produced by Sun Pictures banner. Anirudh is the music composer for both Coolie and Jailer 2.
