Tamil Star Suriya’s upcoming film, Retro under the direction of Karthik Subbaraj is slated to hit the screens on May 1st. Co-staring Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the film’s audio was released yesterday in Chennai. The event happened in of one the indoor stadiums in the city.
Reportedly, the event went on well with the lead actors Suriya and Pooja Hegde seen dancing on the stage. Suriya went emotional while speaking about his fans. At other surprise in the vent was the theatrical trailer of the film was released in the grand event. Showcased in the Retro setup, the promo has some vintage looks of Suriya and some action in the Love thread between the lead pair and is engaging with the centric of love, laughter and war. On the whole, the trailer looks cool and captivating and hope to fulfill the fans of Suriya desire with the much-awaited Retro movie.
Along with the fans the audio release event also has a captivating singing concert with the female lead singing some beautiful songs and dancing to the tunes from the film. As the film has some lovely melodies for the audio album, the songs are a major hit among the fans. Santhosh Narayan has composed the tunes for the film and they are of Retro kind.
Last but not the least, one of the highlights of the event was director Karthik Subbaraj’s speech as he promised the fans that he won’t disappoint the fans with the film. Along with the lead cast, the movie technicians also graced the event with the love and welcome from the fans and the audience.
Coming to the lead technicians of the film, Retro was produced by Stone Bench Creations and 2D Entertainment. The cinematography was handled by Shreyaas Krishna and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali. The movie is all set to hit the screens on May 1st along with Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously.
