Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic entertainer continues to hold well in its second week.
The romantic comedy #SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari (SSKTM) collected an impressive ₹3.75 crore nett on its second Saturday, pushing its total collection to around ₹50 crore nett. The film is expected to comfortably cross the ₹60 crore mark, with trade circles estimating that it could go as high as ₹65 crore by the end of its theatrical run.
With no major releases until Diwali, SSKTM continues to enjoy a free run at the box office, allowing it to sustain decent occupancy across urban multiplexes and select Tier-1 cities.
While the film hasn’t emerged as a blockbuster, it has managed to find its audience among fans of light-hearted entertainers. Trade analysts describe its performance as neither a hit nor a flop, comparing it to the post-pandemic romantic comedies like #ParamSundari and #SatyaPremKiKatha — films that performed moderately well but didn’t achieve massive commercial success.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced under Dharma Productions, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film’s music and vibrant storytelling have helped it maintain steady momentum through word-of-mouth and repeat family audiences.
With one more strong week ahead before Diwali releases take over, SSKTM looks set to wrap up its theatrical run as a moderate success for Dharma Productions.
