Kuberaa starring Nagarjuna and Dhanush in the lead roles in progressing at a brisk pace. Co-starring Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead, the film is being directed by Sekhar Kammula. Meanwhile, this afternoon news came out that the first single for the audio album will be out today evening.
The first image of the song is also out in which Dhanush is seen a traditional wear and hints that the song is going to be a celebration song. As per the reports, the film’s story revolves around the pursuit of wealth and its consequences: a beggar undergoes a dramatic transformation, exploring themes of greed, ambition, and moral dilemmas faced by the characters leading to a quest for redemption.
Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for the film which also has Sunaina Yella in a prominent role. Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Suniel Narangare produced Kuberaa with a massive budget. Already the film’s title teaser which is out a couple of months back has received positive response form the audience. The film was officially announced in June 2021 under the tentative title D51, as it is Dhanush’s 51st film as the leading actor. However, after the arrival of Nagarjuna, it was changed to DNS, referring to Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Sekhar.
Principal photography commenced in February 2024, whilst the official title was announced the following month. It was shot in Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Kuberaa is scheduled to release theatrically worldwide on 20 June 2025.
