Nithiin, known for his energetic and heartfelt performances, returns to the big screen in Thammudu, an emotional action adventure directed by Venu Sriram (MCA, Vakeel Saab). Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the prominent Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the film features a star-studded cast including Sapthami Gowda (making her Tollywood debut), Laya (marking a comeback), Swasika Vijayan, Varsha Bollamma, and Saurabh Sachdeva.

Initially the film was scheduled for a July 4, 2025 worldwide release. A playful promo video commemorating director Venu Sriram’s birthday with the cast surprising him to reveal the date brought laughs and excitement among fans .However, later to avoid colliding with Vijay Deverakonda’s “Kingdom”, Thammudu was postponed. Sources now suggest a July 25, 2025 release is highly likely. But now, the latest developments indicate that the film is releasing on July 4th itself. An official announcement is expected soon with the theatrical trailer release date as well.
