The much-anticipated title teaser of Elumale, a film produced by Tharun Kishore Sudhir and directed by Punit Rangaswamy, was launched in a grand event at Orion Mall, Bangalore. The teaser was unveiled by Karunada Chakravarthy Shivarajkumar, who extended his heartfelt wishes to the entire team. Acclaimed director-actor Jogi Prem also graced the event, wishing the cast and crew tremendous success. The Telugu teaser was launched by Puri Jagannadh who extended best wishes to the team.
Backed by star filmmaker Tharun Sudhir, Elumale features Rakshitha’s brother Raanna in the lead role, paired opposite Mahanati fame Priyanka Achar. The title teaser has already garnered attention, with Raanna’s striking screen presence and Priyanka’s natural performance being praised.
Speaking at the title teaser launch, Shivanna praised, ‘The teaser is outstanding. The title teaser is proof that good things happen to good people. Raanna looks very handsome. Priyanka doesn’t feel like a newcomer at all. New talents must come and make films. When the audience appreciates a film, the earnings will naturally follow. It always happens that way, appreciation first, then profit’.

Sharing his thoughts, Jogi Prem said, ‘During Jogi’s shoot, I got to spend time with Appaji. He always referred to them as our own forest folk. It’s an honor that Shivanna launched this film, I wish them great success.’
The film’s producer, Tharun Sudhir said, ‘Shivanna and Prem Sir are the best at telling the story of Elumale town and the Malemahadeshwara Temple through cinema across Karnataka. Shivanna launching the teaser is a blessing in itself. The film industry is like a gold mine, sometimes you strike gold early, sometimes after a long wait, but there’s always gold. And that gold is right here, in the Kannada film industry. Today, we’re proud to unveil the title teaser. Audio rights have been acquired by Anand Audio for a solid price. In fact, the movie was sold even before the title was announced’. As he put it, a strong product with good content always finds its market.
‘This is a love story, not one of conflict,’ said director Punit Rangaswamy . ‘The events that took place during that time play a significant role in how the film unfolds’, he added.
Produced by Tarun Kishore Sudhir, who is also known for directing ‘Chowka’ and ‘Kaatera’, the film has Atlanta Nagendra as co-producer.
Elumale draws inspiration from a true incident and promises a deeply emotional journey. It tells the story of Chinni, a young woman burdened with family responsibilities from childhood, who finds love in Harish. But their tender relationship faces challenges amidst a region gripped by unrest. The teaser blends emotion and tension, with evocative visuals and a stirring background score that hint at a gripping cinematic experience.
It was shot in various locations along the Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border, including Chamarajanagar, Salem, and Erode.
The film stars Raanna, Priyanka Achar, alongside Jagapathi Babu, Nagabharana, Kishore Kumar, Sardar Sathya, and Jagappa. Cinematography is handled by Advaitha Gurumurthy, with editing by K.M. Prakash. Dialogues are by Nagarjuna Sharma and Punit Rangaswamy, while D. Imman scores the music. The movie will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
