Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi: Outdated drama
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Saiee Manjrekar starrer Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi is out today. Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, the film also stars Vijaya shanti in a key role is out on April 18th. Let’s Review it.
Story:
A sincere cop named Vyjayanthi ( Vijayashanti) shares a good bond with her only son Arjun ( Kalyan Ram). An unfortunate incident in their family creates distrubance in between them. What is the unfortunate incident? What route Arjun takes to overcome the issue? What situations reunion the both Mother and Son? Forms a crucial crux.

Plus points:
Kalyan Ram is okay in his given role. He did his best for the film. Saiee Manjrekar is captivating on the screen but she is not utilized properly.
Vijayashanti is the show stealer as she mesmerizes with her performance in the given role as a cop.
The basic idea of the film is decent and has a scope to explore in an even better way.
Minus points:
The major minus for the film is it’s old school narrative. Due to the same, the entire proceedings look dull and outdated.
Yet another minus for the film is music. Lack of commercial songs between the lead pair comes a demerit for the movie.
The execution can be termed as a minus for this commercial drama because none of the scenes look engaging in the movie.
Technical Department:
As above said, the treatment of the movie is outdated. Director Pradeep must be pointed out in this aspect as none of the proceedings look engaging.
The cinematography work is okay but the film needs a serious editing.
The production values for this high budget entertainer are lavish. As said, the music is a major defect for the movie as none of the songs or background score registers.
Verdict:
All in all, Arjun son of Vyjayanthi is an outdated product from the team. Though the idea looks decent on paper, the treatment totally ineffective and makes the film a boring watch during this weekend.
