Performances:
Ankith Koyya gets a meaty role in which he fitted perfectly and carried the film on his shoulders. He did the multi dimensional role with so much of ease. Especially, his acting during the last thirty minutes is commandable and hunts the audience even after coming out of the theatre.
The same is the case with the lead heroine Nilakhi Patra. Her innocence and natural acting will be loved by the audience. Her acting during the last half an hour is commandable and arresting.
Senior actor Naresh got a role which has a proper weight age in the movie and the experienced actor just lived in the painful father role. Actress Vasuki is believable in the mother role.Other supporting artists gave their best in the given limited roles.
Analysis:
Director cum writer JSS Vardhan did a decent job. As a writer, he tried his best to write the scenes which attracts the youth audience in the first half.At the same time, he tried to explore the key concept nicely.
But the major problem here is with the title and the promo cut of the movie. It is not that the film is bad but looks like miss leading the audience with some of the colourful promos and hiding the dark side of key content.RV Subramanyam and Dev did a decent job in writing screenplay.
Technical Department:
On technical front, the film has some soothing frames. In that aspect, the cinematography work by Shrie Saikumaar Daara is laudable.
The editing work by Beauty team is okay as the runtime is kept within limits. The production values for this limited budget movie are nice. The music by Vijay Bulganin is good but the movie lacks hummable songs except for one.
On the other hand, the background score is commandable.
Verdict:
Altogether, Beauty movie has some of the engaging episodes in both the halves. The key concept is handled nicely without any melodrama. Artists performances and the direction by JSS Vardhan stands as the major highlight making the film as the must watch during this weekend.
