Director Raj R, who made films such as Mallesham is back again with a film titled, Iravai Moodu. Starring all the newcomers, the film has hit the screens on May 16th. Let’s Review it.
Synapsis:
The story revolves around judiciary system. Being an senior advocate, a person who also hails from an upper caste and likes to fight for justice. In the process, he comes to know that criminal justice is served by taking social status into main criteria. Justice will be served in an equal basis? What will the lawyer do to see whether the justice is done in some of the criminal cases? How a referral cases in early 90’s will be a referendum to such cases? Forms the crucial crux.
Performances:
Young actors such as Teja and Tanmai gave a good performance in their given challenging roles. Other artists like Jhansi, Thogubothu Ramesh, Pawon gave a decent performance.

Analysis:
Director cum writer Raj R’s basic idea was great and executed in a decent manner. The emotional angel in the game has been explored in a, decent manner. The struggle of a victim in the jail has been showcased in a nice manner.
Technical Department:
The music for the film given by Mark K Robin is decent but his background score elevates the key proceedings nicely. The cinematography work is good and so was the case with the editing. The production values for this limited budget movie are okay. Lastly, the director Raj R’s writing is good as the point he dealt with has an uniqueness in it but he would have worked on the scene order at scripting stage itself for a better output.
Verdict:
All in all, Iravai Moodu is an hard-hitting drama that exposes the dark side of judiciary system. Artists performance adds the much needed impact for the movie making it a good watch during this weekend.
