He falls in love with Manaswini (Sahithi Avancha), a junior who joins his college. Hoping that his son might change if he gets married, Srinu’s father approaches Manaswini’s father with a marriage proposal. However, Manaswini’s father refuses to give his daughter to someone who loafs around without any responsibility. As the argument escalates, he puts a challenge before Srinu as a condition to agree to the marriage. What is that challenge?Does Srinu succeed in completing it and marry Manaswini or not?To know the answers, you have to watch the film “Itlu Mee Yedava.”

Performances:

This is Trinadh Katari’s first film not only as a director but also as a hero. As an actor, he scores good marks. As a director, it feels like he needs to work a bit more. Heroine Sahithi Avancha looks beautiful and acts just as beautifully. Actors like Goparaju Ramana, Devi Prasad, Tanikella Bharani, Naveen Neni, and Prabhavati display their experience and seniority in their performances.

Analysis:

Films with titles like “Idiot,” “Pokiri,” “Loafer” have come out in the past, most of them made with the intention of attracting the youth. “Itlu Mee Yedava” also belongs to the same category. Trinadh Katari wrote a story similar to “Bommarillu” and added comedy and humor to make it appealing to young audiences.

Although the first half feels routine, the second half moves engagingly. However, a few scenes in the second half feel stretched. The concept that many problems disappear when a youngster in love thinks from the father’s point of view is portrayed well. The climax is impressive. While everyone might expect a predictable, routine ending, the director delivers an unexpected twist.

Technical Department:

Senior music director R. P. Patnaik has composed music for “Itlu Mee Yedava” after a long gap. His music and background score are major strengths of the film. The cinematography is good. The editing could have been handled with a bit more care. The dialogues are well written and stand out as one of the main highlights of the movie.

Verdict:

Altogether, Itlu Mee Yedava has a beautiful presentation though the story offers nothing new. A well mix of youthful elements makes the film a watchable fare during the weekend.
