Story:
Kesari chapter 2 deals with a bravery man, who literally pissed the foundation of British Empire. In 1919,in the month of April, a group of protesters will be protesting at Jallianwalla Bagh in Amritsar against Rowlatt Act. Shivers with the protests, General Dyer (Simon Paisley Day) orders the army troops to fire at the public over there without giving any warning which leads to loss hundreds of lives. Left with no option, to overcome the pressure, the British government puts together an enquiry commission. Sir C Sankaran Nair (Akshay Kumar) is the only Indian in the commission and also believes in the British justice system. How a law student named Dilreet Gill ( Ananya Panday) and Neville McKinley (R Madhavan) a defense lawyer are involved in the case. What strategies Sankaran Nair implement to win the case, Forms the crucial crux.
Performances:
Akshay Kumar is terrific in his role as a sincere Lawyer. He delivers an award winning performance and did his best for the given responsible role.
Ananya Panday is lovely on the screen and did her given role with utmost ease and perfection. She lit up the screen with her commendable screen presence.
Lastly, R Madhavan is a surprise package for the courtroom drama. Be it his dressing or the way he performs the given role in a settled manner will definitely give goosebumps to the audience.

Analysis:
Director Karan Singh Tyagi is the first person to be appreciated. His vision is for beyond the imagination as, his recreation formula works big-time.
The entire team has done an effective job and should be lauded for it. Especially, the Jallianwalla Bagh recreation portions will be an emotional treat to the audience to watch.
Be it artists performance or the scene order, everything is perfectly blended and creates a curiosity among the audience.
Technical Team:
Along with the director, each and every department gave their best. Special mention to the custom designers, they have worked so hard to bring the vintage look into the proceedings, which is clearly visible on the screen.
Music given by Shaswat Sachdev is okay but his background score is arresting. Debojeet Ray‘s cinematography is fine.
Rita Ghosh’s production design and Sheetal Iqbal Sharma‘s costumes are top-notch. Nitin Baid‘s editing is sharp. The VFX shots are handled nicely.
Verdict:
All in all, Kesari chapter 2 is a well executed courtroom drama that has a scope for every artist to excelled in their roles. An engaging proceedings added with a great concept makes the film a must watch during this weekend.
