Synopsis:
Kingdom story is all about the brutal war for power. In childhood, the two brothers Siva(Satyadev) and Suri ( Vijay Deverakonda) live happily in their village. Vexed with their alcoholic father’s behaviour, Siva murders his daddy and escape from the house, leaving his younger brother Suri alone. As a backstory, Siva along with a few members mirginat to Sri Lanka and becomes a summegler. Not knowing that Suri ,a police constable by profession takes up the charge as an undercover agent and goes in search for his missing brother, trusting a police officer. What is the crucial point in the proceedings? How will the conflict arasis between the brothers? What the role of a doctor (role played by Bhagyashree) in the proceedings? That forms the rest of the story
Performances:
Vijay Deverakonda is true to his role and played the character which is coated with multiple dimensions perfectly. His role brings a depth to proceedings. On the other hand, Satyadev is a lifeline for the movie. His natural acting elevates the whole movie in a proper manner.
Bhagyashree is cute in her dignified role as a doctor. No glamour from her this time and impressed with her performance oriented role. Venkatesh is good with his negative shaded character.
Other supporting artists such as Roshni among others are okay in their roles.
Analysis:
The film opens with an episode which creates curiosity among the audience. The opening 10 minutes bang is traffic. The interval block is impressive.
The movie has a good story which can be executed in a even better manner which is lacking in the scene order. Yet another defect is that the movie runs on a slow note without any elevations for the hero.
Moreover, the film reminds us of Suriya’s Retro as the movie has a few similarities with the storyline.
Technical Department:
Music by Anirudh is okay but not upto the mark. Basically, the movie lacks an effective background score. The template music which is used in the teaser of the movie has been repeatedly used and gives a feel of a no refreshing music.
Apart from the music, the cinematography work is top notch and is editing by Naveen Nool.
Production values by Sithara entertainments banner is superb. As above said, the director Gawtam Tinnanaru is biggest minus.
Production design by Avinash Kolla is first class.
Verdict:
