Mithra Mandali – Senseless comedy (2/5)
Actor Priyadarshi, who scored a blockbuster with earlier this year released, Court is back with a fun entertainer, titled, Mithra Mandali. Co-starring noted Youtuber Niharika as the female lead, the movie has hit the screens on October 16,2025. Let’s Review it.
Synopsis:
Mithra Mandali is all about four friends ,who has no goal in life. ( roles played by Priyadarshi,
Vishnu Oi,Rag Mayur and Prasad Behara). Their lives turn when two of them falls for a girl (Niharika NM). As a twist in the tale, she loves Priyadarshi. What happens next among the friends gang, forms crucial crux.
Performances:
All the lead artists gave a good performance but their characters are not established in a proper manner due to which the performances look irritating at times.
Comedian Satya evokes a few laughs but his character arc has been not established properly due to which the entire film runs on a confusing track.
Same is the case with Vennela Kishore track, though the seasoned comedian gave his best it went unnoticed due to poor establishment of his character. Other supporting artists such as VT Ganesh and Brahmanandam are just okay with their performance in the limited screen time.
Analysis:
Director Vijayendar S’ intention was good of making a movie by focusing on comedy track between the friends gang but his writing goes wrong with some over the top scenes and characters.
His writing remains us of Anudeep KV’s 2021 released, Janthi Ratnalu but the treatment goes out the layer.
Technical Department:
The music composed by RR Dhruvan is engaging. Though his songs run on a non sync mood, he did a commandable job with his background score.
The cinematography work by Siddharth SJ is colourful. On the other hand, the editing by Peekay is sharp as the film has any unwanted episodes.
The production values for this limited budget movie are solid and the grandeur is visible in each frame of the movie.
Verdict:
Altogether, Mithra Mandali is an out and out entertainer that has good amount of fun moments moments. While the direction by Vijayendar S is bad the writing and the screenplay keeps irritating the audience but the performances by the lead actors makes the movie just one-time watch entertainer during this festival weekend.
