Along with a dozen of films, a small film, titled, Naari is, also released today. Starring senior actress Amani, in a key role, the film is released on March 7th. Let’s see how it goes.

Story:

A perverted guy named Anand (Vaista), traps an innocent girl named Bharati and marries her. Later, he used her for some bad intentions as a reason he will be put behind the bars for seven years. The proceedings later lands to the entry of Amani’s character, who leads a single mother along with her kid. What is the connection between Bharati and Amani’s characters? Left with no option, what kind of daring decision will Amani take in regarding of her child? To know that, you have to watch the film on screen.

Plus points:

Artists gave a decent performance. Due to which the seriousness in the scenes has been elevated nicely. Especially, senior actress Amani gave an amazing performance during the climax portions. Child artist Dev of Salaar fame also gave a good performance.

The story and screenplay can be termed as the best part of the film. The team work is clearly visible on the screen. Yet another actor Vaista is a perfect fit in the role as a perverted guy.

Minus points:

Surprisingly, the film has no loopholes in the narrative. Though their are a few minor problems in the narrative, it can be ignored due to budget constraints.

Technical aspects:

Director should be appreciated for picking up this kind of message-oriented content for his first film. He gave his best for the film. The cinematography work is decent as well because the color texture he used for the film has been perfectly blended into the proceedings. The editing work is good as the film has hardly any unwanted scenes. The production values for this limited budget film are okay.

Last but not least, the music is a major advantage for the film. Especially, the background score literally breathed life into the key portions which come during the climax.

Verdict:

In an overview, Naari is an emotional drama which has right mix of emotions and drama. If promoted well, the film has a scope at the box office. In terms of revenue, word of mouth needs to pick up among the audience.
