Synopsis:

The film follows Seetha ( Aishwarya Arjun)and Abhi( Niranjan Sudhindra) two strangers who start a long journey together. What begins as a simple road trip gradually becomes an emotional relationship-driven story exploring love, trust and family bonds. What happens in the further proceedings, forms the crucial crux.

Performances:

Aishwarya Arjun is shining throughout the film. Her acting in emotional and family scenes uplifts the movie. She is cute on the screen and gave expressions in an even cute manner. Niranjan Sudhindra is fine as the lead actor and gave a decent performances.

Arjun is outstanding in his short and sweet cameo. His make up and transformation gives proper justification to the character. Dhruv Sarja made a powerful cameo and the young hero has did it perfectly. The action part which comes during his cameo comes as a Banger on the screen.

Other supporting artists such as Prakash Raj and Sathyaraj are perfect pick for the given key roles.

Analysis:

While Arjun has provided the story for the film, he did justice to the multiple jobs as a screenplay writer and as the filmmaker effectively. He even directed the movie and his job sincerely.

His core theme is good and executed it in an engaging manner to an extent. On the flip side, lack of strong conflict point comes as a major defect for the entire movie. If the conflict point is addressed in an even engaging way, the result would have been even better.

Technical Department:

Dialogues written by Sai Madhav Burra are nice and truck the core to the audience. Especially, the one-one scenes between Aishwarya Arjun and her family are good and thought provoking.

Music scored by Anup Rubens is soothing and elevates a couple of family scenes nicely. BGM was Apt to the narrative.

G. Balamuruga’s cinematography work is appreciates. Each frame of the movie is being neatly presented.

Editing by Ayoob Khan is good as he tried to keep the runtime within limits. The production values for this limited budget movie are decent.

Verdict:

Altogether, Seetha Payanam is an enjoyable love drama that is laced with some beautiful family moments. Lead artists performance comes as a strong pillar of the movie. Especially, Aishwarya Arjun did a fabulous work with her acting in emotional family scenes making the film a worthy watch during this Valantain Day weekend.
