Shashtipoorthi starring Rupeysh and Aakanksha in the lead roles is release on May 30th. Co-starring Rajendra Prasad and Archana in a prominent roles, the film is out today for public viewing. Let’s Review it.
Synopsis:
Young Sri Ram’s (Rupeysh) childhood lesson in honesty shapes his future as a dedicated public lawyer who devotes his life to pursuing justice, regardless of consequences. In the meantime, his family faces a peculiar problem in Context with his Father (role played by Rajendra Prasad) and Mother (Archana).What is the problem? How Sri Ram will solve it with the help of his girlfriend Janaki ( Aakankasha Singh), Forms the crucial crux.
Performances:
Young actor Rupeysh has done a decent job in terms of his acting. His aggressive act in the given role as Lawyer bring depth to the proceedings. He is fine with his acting, considering the first film and convinced with his acting in emotional scenes.
Rajendra Prasad gets a meaty role in which he did cent percent justice. His acting during the emotional scenes with the family elevate the scenes nicely. Archana is fine in her given key role and emotes the crucial scenes with her acting. Aakankasha Singh did a decent job in the role which has a good weightage in the script. Her glamour is an added attraction for the film.
Other actors are okay in their supporting roles.
Analysis:
Firstly, director should be appreciated for choosing the script which has values in the subject. His taking in okay but could have worked more on the scene order for an uniramous applause.
For the key proceedings, his work is visible on the screen. The action part is also lovely and makes one engaging.
Technical Department:
Music by Legendary Music composer Ilaiyaraaja is a backbone for the film as his songs and background score is soothing and nicely elevates the scenes in which the music is required.
On the other hand, the photography work is fine and so is the case with the editing work. The production values for this limited budget movie are okay.
Verdict:
All in all, Shashtipoorthi is an beautiful gatherings of moments in the life time. The emotional scenes added with the hero elevation scenes are nicely blended with the proceedings and makes the movie a must watch for the audience. Watch it in the theaters if u get time or else don’t miss this gem on OTT for sure.
