Chhaava is an Indian Hindi-language historical action film based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, the second ruler of the Maratha Empire, who is played by Vicky Kaushal. An adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant, it is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films. The cast also includes Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna.
Chhaava was released on February 14th in this year. Opened to positive response from all quarters, the film has caught the audience attention and minted massive amount at the box office. Reportedly, the film has collected more than Rs 600 crore at the ticket windows and attained Blockbuster status at the box office.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film is available on OTT streaming platform Netflix last week onwards in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. The film is out on OTT platform from April 1st week. Netflix management has also confirmed the same.
