Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa Makes Its OTT Entry on Amazon Prime Video
After a successful theatrical run, Vishnu Manchu’s ambitious devotional drama Kannappa has now arrived on the digital platform. Nearly ten weeks after its big-screen release, the film is officially streaming on Amazon Prime Video.Interestingly, while Prime Video usually drops its titles at midnight (00:00 IST), fans were left confused when the movie didn’t appear at the expected time.
Putting all speculation to rest, the platform confirmed just minutes ago that Kannappa is now available to watch in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages and trending on the top showcasing the audience intrest on this devotional drama.
However, the Hindi version is yet to get an update.The film boasts a star-studded ensemble: Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva, Kajal Aggarwal as Goddess Parvati, with Prabhas and Mohanlal making impactful special appearances. The supporting cast includes stalwarts like Mohan Babu, Priety Mukhundan, Sarathkumar, Madhubala, Mukesh Rishi, and several others.
Backed by Mohan Babu under his home banner, the film carries soul-stirring music composed by Stephen Devassy. Now, with its OTT release, all eyes are on how Kannappa will connect with the streaming audience and continue its journey beyond theaters.
