Retro to stream on Netflix from this date
Retro starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles is out on May 1st. Opened to positive word of mouth, the film has collected an amount of close to ₹100 crore in it’s full run in Tamil Nadu alone.
Touted as a love action drama, Retro has a feel good love story between Suriya and Pooja Hegde. Adding to it, the film has an ample amount of action and sentiment in the proceedings. It is already reported that Retro post-theatrical streaming rights are bagged by popular streaming platform Netflix. Reportedly, the OTT platform has snapped the rights for a whopping amount and planning to release online from May 31st. An official announcement regarding the same came out this morning.
Retro is bankrolled by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment banner and has its music composed by Santhosh Narayan. The movie also has also produced by Stone Bench Creations. Retro also has Joju George, Jayaram and Nassar in a prominent roles.
