Thalaivan Thalaivii Arrives on Amazon Prime Video After Successful Theatrical Run
Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen’s latest outing Thalaivan Thalaivii has made its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Paandiraj, the family drama infused with romance and comedy is now available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
The film hit OTT just four weeks after its theatrical release, a relatively quick turnaround in today’s release strategies. During its box office run, Thalaivan Thalaivii grossed over ₹75 crore in Tamil Nadu alone, establishing itself as a solid success. However, its Telugu version, titled Sir Madam, only managed an average performance. The movie’s streaming release is now expected to draw wider attention and open it to fresh audiences across regions.
Alongside the lead pair, the cast features Yogi Babu, Roshini Haripriyan, Deepa Shankar, and RK Suresh in key roles. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the project also carries the musical touch of Santhosh Narayanan, whose soundtrack has been praised for blending melody with contemporary sounds.With its OTT debut, the film’s journey enters a new phase as viewers at home gear up to experience Paandiraj’s heartfelt storytelling.
