Performances:
Babil Khan is okay in his role as a social media influencer. His get up is trendy and looks close to modern day guy feels. His acting in the emotions and tensed scenes is good. The voiceover by SK is effective.
In a word, the movie heavily banked on the performance more than being shot on a lavish scale.
The concept of the phone-call-Driven is unique and has been presented in a convincing manner.
Analysis:
The film’s basic idea was good and executed nicely. The film has a settled and consistent narration which is being presented in a convincing manner by the director.
While the set up created is good, the narration lacks sustainability in the proceedings. A sharp treatment is required for unanimous results.
The last thirty minutes of the film will lose the curiosity among the audience and it looks a bit rushed and not fully satisfied. The production values for this limited budget movie are fine.
Technical Department:
Director Amit Golani should be appreciated for delivering a quality product with a limited budget. If given a budget of his choice, he has the capacity to score in an even better way.
The photography work is fine as the film is in the right tone to its genre. The editing work is good. Background score by Haroon-Gavin is alright.
Verdict:
All in all, Logout is Partially engaging cyber crime drama. A good social message is narrated in digital media as the main USB makes it a one-time watch.
