Vijay’s reckless attitude hurting fans?

Thalapathy Vijay

Tamil star hero Vijay aka Thalapathy Vijay has been continuously dubbing his films in Telugu for the past decade or so. This idea has been yielding fruitful results for him as Vijay has now got a minimum hero image among the Telugu audience. Earlier, during the release of his 2012 film, Thuppakki, Vijay came all the way from Chennai for the pre-release event for the movie in Hyderabad. Eventually, Vijay films got a market in Telugu.

Even Vijay’s last movie, Master which had a simultaneous release in Telugu during the Sankranthi 2021had ended up as a super hit at the box office. Reportedly, the film has collected a good share of Rs 13 crore from twin Telugu states. The point to note is that the film is an average grosser at the TN box office. He is now coming up with an actioner titled, Beast that is gearing up for a simultaneous theatrical release in Telugu with the same title.
This Nelson Dilipkumar directional has Pooja Hegde as the female lead and is originally bankrolled by Sun Pictures banner. Dil Raju is releasing the film in Telugu states. In the afternoon hours of April 8th, the team has arranged s promotional press meet for Beast in Hyderabad where the film director Nelson Dilipkumar, heroine Pooja Hegde and music composer Anirudh are seen along with the Telugu presenter Dil Raju. But the sad news is that Vijay skipped the promotional event. Even after witnessing so much love from the Telugu audience, this kind of reckless attitude from Vijay is not going well with his fans in Telugu. Will he wake up? Remains to be seen.
