The title and trailer launch event of “Aathma Katha – An Untold Story”, produced under the banner of Varahi Entertainments Private Limited by Somesh and directed by Srinivas Gundreddy, was held in a grand manner amidst film personalities and dignitaries. Former MLA Rasamayi Balakishan officially unveiled the title and trailer of the film. The movie stars Gemini Suresh as the lead hero and Roopa as the heroine, while prominent actors including 30 Years Industry Prithvi, Sammetha Gandhi, Shakalaka Shankar, Thagubothu Ramesh, Dhanraj, Naga Mahesh, Balagam Vijayalakshmi, and Srinivas Naidu play important roles.
The event was attended by Telugu Film Producers Council Secretary Tummala Prasanna Kumar, actor K.V. Pradeep, actress Karate Kalyani, and several other guests from the film industry. The film’s music is composed by Shreyansh, cinematography is handled by Gopi, and editing is done by Raghavendra Reddy. “Aathma Katha” is slated for release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
Speaking at the event, director Srinivas Gundreddy expressed his gratitude towards everyone who supported him throughout his filmmaking journey. He revealed that he has worked in multiple languages and credited his brother Prasanna for standing by him and supporting him in every project. He mentioned that he personally handles writing, dialogues, post-production work, and several technical aspects to reduce the production budget. He also shared that his children are skilled technicians who contributed to the film. Srinivas thanked the cast and crew for their dedication and requested audiences to bless the movie.
Telugu Film Producers Council Secretary Tummala Prasanna Kumar stated that “Aathma Katha” is the story of a common man and appreciated director Srinivas for completing the film efficiently without burdening the producer financially. He praised the team spirit behind the project and wished the film great success.
Actor K.V. Pradeep said he was happy to attend the event and appreciated producer Somesh and his son Shreyansh for contributing to the film. He wished the young music director a bright future and hoped Gemini Suresh would earn a good name with the movie.
Former MLA Rasamayi Balakishan praised the film’s title and appreciated the team for bringing such a story to audiences. He said it takes courage to narrate emotionally rooted stories in today’s cinema landscape and wished the film a grand success.
Actor Sammetha Gandhi shared that when the director narrated the story, he was surprised and happy to know that the narrative revolves around his character’s soul. He appreciated the team for making such a strong film using just three locations and wished prosperity for the producer.
Actress Karate Kalyani spoke humorously, calling Gemini Suresh the “dream prince” of girls and praised director Srinivas for giving him a strong hero role. She appreciated filmmakers who care about producers’ budgets and expressed confidence that the music would become a major highlight of the film.
Actor Kumanan praised director Srinivas for his positive attitude and teamwork. He appreciated the collaborative effort between the director’s and producer’s families in making the film and wished success to the entire team.
Lead actor Gemini Suresh emotionally shared his journey from arriving in Hyderabad in 2005 to becoming a hero through “Aathma Katha.” He thanked director Srinivas, producer Somesh, and the makers who believed in him. He described the film as a heartfelt family entertainer filled with emotions, fear, and entertainment that reflects the life of common people. He also thanked the media and audiences who supported him throughout his 20-year journey and requested everyone to watch and support the film in theatres.
