Under the banner of Hanuman Film Factory, the film Black Mail, starring Varun Sandesh and Gemini Suresh in lead roles, was grandly launched today in Hyderabad with traditional pooja ceremonies. The film is being written and directed by Srinivas Gundreddy and produced by Avinash Kunapareddy.
Actors Prithviraj, Sammeta Gandhi, and Naga Mahesh will be seen in key roles. The cinematography is being handled by GS Chakravarthy Reddy, while Raghavendra Reddy serves as the editor. SV Mallik Teja is composing the music for the film.
The film’s script was handed over to the director by the producers, while noted writer and producer Kona Venkat gave the first clap. Senior producer Bharadwaj switched on the camera, and Gemini Suresh’s mother M. Venkata Subba Lakshmi directed the first shot. Actor Rakshit Atluri and actress Sreelu were among the guests who attended the event and extended their wishes.
Speaking at the event, director Srinivas Gundreddy thanked the media and guests for supporting the film. He also expressed gratitude to the producers for trusting him with the project and said the media had always played an important role in giving him recognition.
Varun Sandesh said he had known the director for a long time and immediately felt confident about the film after hearing the story. He thanked the producers and guests and revealed that the shoot would begin soon.
Gemini Suresh shared his happiness about acting alongside Varun Sandesh and thanked producer Avinash for supporting him in every possible way. He also appreciated director Srinivas for giving him a strong role in the film and said the screenplay would be one of the film’s major highlights.
Music director SV Mallik Teja thanked the makers for choosing him and promised to give his best to ensure the film’s success.
Prithviraj praised Varun Sandesh for his dedication and Gemini Suresh for always being supportive. He described the title Black Mail as very catchy and said the screenplay was highly engaging. He also appreciated producer Avinash for his warm nature and hospitality.
Naga Mahesh wished the team success and thanked the director for giving him an opportunity in the film.
ACP Vidya Sagar wished the film great success and hoped it would become another memorable hit for Varun Sandesh.
Producer Avinash stated that one of the main reasons he entered the film industry was to provide employment opportunities to many families and to help Telugu cinema reach international standards. He also announced that 10% of the profits from the film would be shared with the technicians who worked on it.
