The grand Love Carnival event of Chennai Love Story was held amid enthusiastic cheers from fans at Raj Yuvraj Theatre in Vijayawada. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju and State Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh attended the event as chief guests, while Jana Sena Party leader Panchakarla Sandeep was also present. On the occasion, the makers officially launched the film’s fourth lyrical single, “Hoyila Hoyila.”
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said, “We held our first promotional event in Tirupati, and this event was initially planned for Visakhapatnam. Due to heavy rains, we shifted the venue to Vijayawada, which happens to be my hometown, making it even more special. Telugu cinema has witnessed many love stories, but Chennai Love Story will remain memorable forever. Audiences will witness its magic on July 24. Kiran Abbavaram has worked incredibly hard for this film, even shooting continuously for nearly 60 hours without proper rest over the past few days. That’s why I feel like calling him ‘Kiran Bangaram.’ Sri Gouri Priya will earn even more recognition with this film. Though director Ravi Namburii couldn’t attend due to post-production work, he has made an excellent film. My friends Sai Rajesh and SKN have always stood behind my success.”

Though our title mentions Chennai, we filmed extensively in Visakhapatnam and Chirala. Minister Kandula Durgesh has been making sincere efforts to develop the film industry. As the Vice President of the Film Federation and Treasurer of the Directors Association, I strongly believe Vijayawada has the potential to become another major Telugu film production hub. We have world-class locations and exceptional talent. I have admired Raghurama Krishnam Raju garu for a long time. He appreciated Hrudaya Kaleyam, and I even had the opportunity to watch cockfights with him once. I’ve watched Chennai Love Story ten times already. It will definitely win your hearts. If Baby had powerful emotions, this film offers two or three times stronger emotional moments. Whether it becomes a blockbuster or a super hit is in the audience’s hands, but making a good film is our responsibility, and we’ve given it our absolute best.”
Producer SKN said, “It feels wonderful to host this event in my hometown Vijayawada. The city brings back countless memories—from watching films of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Megastar Chiranjeevi to enjoying the local food. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema have so many breathtaking locations that we don’t need to travel to other states for shoots. Most of Chennai Love Story was filmed in Andhra Pradesh, including massive lighthouse sets on the beach. The government extended tremendous support by granting permissions with remarkable efficiency, reflecting its commitment to the growth of the film industry. July 24 is a special date for me because films like Indra and Tholi Prema were also released on this day. As a Mega fan, it is a memorable date. Premieres of our film will begin on July 23. After the success of KA and K-Ramp, Kiran agreed to do this film after listening to the story for just an hour. He has carried this project on his shoulders. Kiran is not just a good actor but also a director and producer who has worked wholeheartedly for this film.
