Chidambaram and Rishab Shetty to Collaborate on Two Projects
Filmmaker Chidambaram, who has carved a niche for himself with his distinctive storytelling and unconventional filmmaking style, is set to collaborate with acclaimed actor Rishab Shetty for not one, but two projects. The exciting combination has already generated curiosity among film enthusiasts, with further details about the projects expected to be announced officially soon.
According to the latest reports, Chidambaram has committed to directing two films with Rishab Shetty. While the makers are currently keeping the projects under wraps, one of the two films is said to be a sports drama. The project is reportedly being planned on a significant scale, with its shooting expected to commence next year.
The collaboration marks an interesting pairing of a filmmaker known for presenting rooted and emotionally engaging stories and an actor who has built a strong reputation for taking up challenging and performance-oriented roles. Rishab Shetty has established himself as one of the prominent names in Indian cinema, both as an actor and filmmaker, while Chidambaram has earned attention for his unique approach to storytelling.
The reported sports drama is particularly intriguing, as the genre offers considerable scope for strong characterisation, emotional conflict, and visually engaging sequences. Although the storyline, setting, and the sport around which the film will revolve are currently being kept confidential, expectations are already building around the project.
The film will be produced by Shibu Thameens, who is backing the project as part of this upcoming collaboration. With an established production setup and the combination of Chidambaram and Rishab Shetty, the project is expected to attract attention across multiple film industries.
At present, the makers have not revealed the title, complete cast, technical crew, or other key details of the two projects. The official announcement is expected to provide more clarity regarding the genre, production scale, shooting schedule, and release plans.
The second project in the collaboration is also being closely watched, although its genre and storyline remain under wraps. Having two projects lined up together indicates a strong creative association between Chidambaram and Rishab Shetty.
With the sports drama expected to go on floors next year, more updates are likely to emerge in the coming months. If the combination of Chidambaram’s filmmaking and Rishab Shetty’s performance comes together as expected, both projects could become notable additions to their respective filmographies.
More details regarding the titles, cast, crew, and official launch are expected to be announced soon.
