Produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, Balan: The Boy has emerged as a successful cinematic venture. Directed by Chidambaram, the filmmaker behind Manjummel Boys, the film is based on a script written by Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan.

Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn have produced the film. Released recently in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi, Balan: The Boy has been receiving an overwhelming response from audiences across languages. In the Telugu states, the film is being distributed by Annapurna Studios.The film is enjoying a successful theatrical run in Telugu as well. Actor Naga Chaitanya and several Tollywood celebrities have extended their support to the film.

In Malayalam, veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan appreciated the movie, while Tamil star couple Suriya and Jyotika also praised the film. Adding to the growing appreciation, legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam has now lauded Balan: The Boy.Legendary director Mani Ratnam attended a special screening of Balan: The Boy and appreciated the film’s screenplay as well as the performances of its cast.
