Rayavalasa Makes a Splash at New York’s Times Square; Vishwak Sen Launches Maa Ooru Rayavalasa Song
Produced by Gopi Krishna Jayanthi under the Raysun Productions banner, Rayavalasa is directed by Radhika Jayanthi. The film features Karthik Jayanthi and Sreesha Nulu in the lead roles, alongside noted actors Anita Chowdary, Ravi Varma, Jayaprakash, Kasi Viswanath, and others in pivotal roles.
The film’s first single, ‘Ringudu Ringudu’, an authentic Andhra folk number, has received an encouraging response on social media. Sung by popular playback singers Dhanunjay and Sahithi Chaganti, the song has already garnered over 1.2 million views, continuing to gain traction among music lovers.
The makers have now unveiled the film’s second single, ‘Maa Ooru Rayavalasa’, with Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen launching the song. Adding to its appeal, the track has been rendered by Rahul Sipligunj, the celebrated singer who lent his voice to the Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’.
Speaking after launching the song, Vishwak Sen said, “The content of Rayavalasa is good, and the song is fantastic. Rahul has sung it brilliantly. My best wishes to the entire team.”
Taking the vibrant sounds of rural Andhra Pradesh to an international audience, Rayavalasa has made a notable impression with its promotional campaign. The visuals of the film’s first single, ‘Ringudu Ringudu’, were showcased on a billboard at the iconic New York Times Square, bringing the rustic charm of an Andhra folk song to one of the world’s most celebrated landmarks. This innovative promotional initiative is particularly noteworthy for a film marking the debut of both its lead actor and director. With its distinctive approach to promotions, the Rayavalasa team is striving to carve out a unique identity in the industry.
Arjun Bala has composed the music, while the story is written by Rakhi. Kittu has handled the cinematography, and renowned editor Garry BH is in charge of editing.
Set against a rural backdrop, Rayavalasa weaves together love, friendship, family bonds, and heartfelt emotions. The film is set to arrive in theatres on December 11.
