Soori’s Next Film with Mythri Movie Makers Launched in Chennai, Rajisha Vijayan as Female Lead
The pooja ceremony of actor Soori’s upcoming film, tentatively referred to as #Soori07, was held in Chennai today, marking the beginning of an exciting new project backed by renowned production house Mythri Movie Makers. The film has already generated interest among moviegoers with its intriguing premise, promising cast, and experienced technical team.
Rajisha Vijayan has been roped in as the female lead opposite Soori, bringing together two talented performers for this upcoming venture. The film will be directed by R. Ravikumar, who is widely recognised for his work on the science-fiction entertainers Indru Netru Naalai and Ayalaan. His involvement has raised expectations for a film that is expected to offer a compelling cinematic experience.
One of the most interesting aspects of the project is its setting. The film is set against the backdrop of the devastating Chennai floods of 2015, one of the most significant natural disasters in the city’s recent history. The floods affected thousands of people and left a lasting impact on Chennai and its residents. By choosing this historical event as its backdrop, the film has the potential to explore human emotions, survival, resilience, and the struggles faced by ordinary people during a crisis.
Although the makers have yet to reveal the complete storyline, the combination of a real-life disaster setting and an emotionally engaging narrative could make this project an interesting addition to Soori’s filmography.
Soori, who has earned recognition for his performances across Tamil cinema, has increasingly taken on roles that showcase his abilities beyond comedy. His pairing with Rajisha Vijayan is another noteworthy aspect of the project, as audiences will be eager to see how their characters develop within the film’s narrative.
Mythri Movie Makers, known for backing several prominent Indian cinema projects, is producing the film. The production house’s association with the project adds further interest to this upcoming venture.
With the pooja ceremony now completed, the film is officially moving forward. Further details regarding the remaining cast, technical crew, shooting schedule, title, and release date are expected to be announced by the makers in due course.
#Soori07 promises to be an intriguing project, bringing together Soori, Rajisha Vijayan, director R. Ravikumar, and Mythri Movie Makers for a story set against one of Chennai’s most unforgettable events. More updates are awaited as the film progresses into production.
