Kiku Chiranjeevi: Gripping Survival Thriller (3/5)
Newcomers named Kiku Yanamala and Kashish Khan have made a film titled, Kiku Chiranjeevi. Amidst decent buzz among the moviegoers, the film is scheduled to hit the screens on August 28, 2026 but the film had a special premiers on August 27th night. Let’s Review Kiku Chiranjeevi.
Synopsis:
The story centers on Chiru, a unique protagonist born with his heart on the right side of his chest, who encounters intense physical and emotional trials. What are the twists and turns happens to his life? Who is Kiku Yanamala? What kind of changes will Chiranjeevi experience in his life after the heroine enters into his life, forms the crucial crux.
Performances:
The lead actor did a commandable job in his role which has multiple dimensions in it. His facial expressions are good even in the camera zoom angles. Acting wise, he did a decent job as the movie has the scope to expand.
The female lead did a nice job in her purposeful role. A Romantic song between the lead pair is amazing and provides eye candy treat for the youth audience.
Other artists such as Easwari Rao is perfect in her mother role. Tanikella Bharani, Goparaju Ramana,Srikanth Iyengar among others did a fine job in their key roles.
Analysis:
The core idea of the movie is nice and it has a scope to click well with the audience if promoted in right way. The direction by Shubha Sai Venkat is decent enough.
While the scene order in the first half could have been tighter especially during the introduction of characters. Basically the on paper idea of the movie is good.
The screenplay looks flat during the first half an hour. However, it gains the momentum as the movie progresses.
Technical Support:
Technically the film has a strong backup in the form of music, photography. While the songs and background Score given by Sekhar Chandra are superb and elevates the crucial scenes nicely, the cinematography by
P. Ramakrishna adds a rich texture to the entire film.
On the other hand, the editing work by Chota K. Prasad is slick as he kept the runtime within the limits. Artwork by J.K. Murthy is good and reflects the core theme of the movie nicely.
Lastly, the production values for this limited budget movie are surprisingly cool and lavish. VFX work is done perfectly.
Verdict:
Altogether, Kiku Chiranjeevi is an gripping Survival thriller that can be watched with your loved ones and your friends gang . Though there are a few setbacks in the initial part, the soul of the movie raises during the Interval and maintain the same high throughout the second half. Hence making the movie a satisfying watch during this weekend.
