
The team of MAGUDAM / MAKUTAM has successfully wrapped up an intense two-week shooting schedule in Kakinada, marking a significant milestone in the film’s production journey. The schedule, described as gruelling due to challenging weather conditions and demanding sequences, saw the cast and crew pushing their limits to bring the film’s vision to life.
Following the completion of this crucial leg, the team has now returned to Chennai, gearing up for the final phase of shooting. The recently concluded schedule focused on the 1990s portion of the film, which is said to be one of the most challenging and pivotal segments in the narrative. Completing this portion is being seen as a major achievement for the makers.
The filmmaker expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire crew for their dedication and resilience. Special appreciation was extended to cinematographer Abhinandan for his visual expertise and to Brinda Master for her choreography, both of whom played key roles in shaping the film’s aesthetic and energy. The direction team was also acknowledged for their relentless support, with particular mention of Prabha for holding things together seamlessly throughout the schedule.
The cast, too, received high praise for their professionalism and commitment. Actress Anjali was especially appreciated for her grounded and ego-free approach, which contributed greatly to the positive working atmosphere on set. Actor John Vijay, along with JP sir and the rest of the ensemble, was commended for their strong performances and camaraderie.
A notable mention was given to the female cast members, who endured the harsh heatwave conditions without complaint, continuing to deliver their best in every scene. Their perseverance stood as a testament to the team’s collective passion for the project.
