Synopsis:
Krushav (Mahendran) lands in Purushottamapuri from Hyderabad on a mission. What is his mission, where this leads to, what is the mystery behind the Vasudeva temple and how Heera Bandhu (Mime Gopi), Sharma (Duvvasi Mohan), Heera Bandu niece Bhuvi (Ambika Vani), Central Minister (John Vijay) are connected to it,form interesting twists and turns.
Performances:
Mahendran impresses in the role which has the weightage. Be it his physical transformation or his facial expressions, he did the role with a ease and pulled off the role which has multiple dimensions.
Ambika Vani is cute on the screen and gave a decent performance in the limited role. Her on screen chemistry with Mahendran is adorable. Sumedha Bajaj and John Vijay are okay as the baddies.
Other supporting artists such as Tulasi and Auto Ram Prasad did a decent job in their limited screen presence.
Analysis:
The main plotline of the movie is somewhat different from the regular commercial dramas. Writer and director Vykunt Bonu should be appreciated for doing his job perfectly.
On the other hand, the VFX work is done perfectly. Especially, the climax portions have come out very well due to the same.
Technical Support:
Music by Mani Sharma is a major plus for the film.Be it his songs or his outstanding background Score, everything works so perfectly and only elevates the proceedings.
While the cinematography work is rich and shining, the editing work would have been better at some portions. The production values for this limited budget movie are excellent.
Verdict:
Altogether, Vasudheva Sutham is mythological drama that deals with the powerful concept.VFX is the main asset for the film hence making it a must watch during this weekend.
